I'm bursting at the seams here!
(a) Almost as soon as I wrote the other day's post we decided on a house. And the kicker?
It doesn't have a dishwasher.
Well, besides our hands, that is. The house has everything else we wanted, though and it was the price we wanted so we weighed the pros and cons and when all was said and done the only thing in the "con" column was "no dishwasher" so we went with it.
We signed the lease yesterday and we move in the first weekend in October!
(b)This morning my boss called me and gave me a promotion!
I was floored.
I've only been with the company a little over three months, but I've done really well(toot! toot!*) and so I guess my hard work has paid off!
This has been such a good week and I can't wait to see what else is going to happen!
*That would be the sound of me tooting my own horn.
